Insight / Formulation perspective

Are we getting the nutrition we need?

A balanced reflection on nutrition choices, product quality, and the difference between general nutrition discussion and product-specific evidence.

A Samarth Biorigins perspective · Updated October 2026

Start with the product question.

Ingredient and delivery choices make sense only in the context of the intended formulation. The active, process conditions, format, target market, and available evidence all shape the decision.

Keep the evidence specific.

Different studies answer different questions. In-house characterisation, in-vitro work, animal studies, and human pharmacokinetic studies should be described in their own terms. A measurement in one setting does not by itself establish a health outcome or predict every finished product.

Ask for the current documentation.

When evaluating an ingredient, ask for the current specification, method, supporting data, and any documents needed for supplier qualification. Then review them against the requirements for your product and market.
